We're Defining the Future of Travel

We’re a group of people dedicated to making the best mobile applications in the world. We work extraordinarily hard to create beautiful, indispensable apps that help people travel smart.

We make apps that have been downloaded millions of times

We believe our success comes from a combination of working extraordinarily hard, being meticulous about design, focusing on user experience, and making sure that every one of our products is an indispensable tool for travelers. We take exceptional pride in our products, and we think it shows.

We’ve had some wonderful accolades, won two Webby Awards, and our applications have been featured by the New York Times, Wall Street Journal, Boston Globe, Forbes, Washington Post, TechCrunch, USA Today, Macworld, PC Magazine and in Apple television and print ads.

Mobiata was founded in 2008 when Founder and GM Ben Kazez launched FlightTrack for the iPhone, and within days it was the best-selling travel app. FlightTrack has remained one of the top-grossing travel apps to this day. In November 2010, Mobiata was acquired by Expedia, Inc., and now develops Expedia’s mobile apps as well as leads the development and research in all emerging platforms for the company. And we still innovate and iterate on Mobiata apps.
